What brought you to CASA? CASA plays a vital role in the community. Casa is a fulfilling program that helps people in unimaginable ways. I am passionate about furthering my career to become a clinical psychologist, having the opportunity to make a positive and impactful difference in the community. CASA stuck out to me because everyone here is ready to make a difference. I have heard only great things about CASA.

Why is CASA important to you?  CASA means a lot to me because it offers a meaningful chance to support children and families who lack a voice, giving them the opportunity to be heard. CASA ensures that children are not only aware of their rights but also feel loved. CASA is consistent and provides that stability for children even if their lives are filled with inconsistency; CASA is always there, and that’s something I admire. I am grateful I get to be a part of something so impactful.

What do you do outside of CASA?

I enjoy being around the people I love most. Besides that, I enjoy snowboarding and golfing. I love the outdoors, so I always find myself going on walks too. I care about self-care and like to improve myself mentally and physically in whatever way I can. I enjoy listening to podcasts that discuss topics I’m passionate about, which are psychology and sociology. How do you wind down or spend your free time?

How I wind down and spend my free time is cooking new meals, listening to podcasts, and grabbing dinner with my friends.

What is something people may not know about you?

Usually, people outgrow their Minecraft phase. I never did… I still play… What is something you've learned recently?  I've recently come to realize just how amazing it is that volunteers and CASA are truly making a meaningful difference in children’s lives. Often, children in foster care face many changes with different caseworkers and placements, which can be quite unsettling. The CASA program plays such an important role by offering stability and consistent support, helping to create a more secure and hopeful environment for these children.
