What does your "family" look like? Well I'm here to tell you it doesn't matter what your family LOOKS like! What matters is the time you spend with your family. MY family looks like this; me, my husband, my daughter, my son and my dog.
Even the seemingly small, insignificant moments matter. The big moments matter, the sad moments matter and the happy moments matter. THEY all matter.
I work for CASA and have worked in the child welfare system my entire professional career because I believe all children deserve to feel safe with their families as they experience all of these moments.
All children thrive on spending time with their families, all people thrive on spending time with the people they love. Remember that on those days when the daily grind gets you down!
