Every child deserves to be celebrated! Athens CASA is pleased to offer birthday celebration support for children served by the program.
Step 1: The CASA Volunteer refers a child on their caseload to Meera's Gift Basket by completing the online form below.
Step 2: Athens CASA staff obtain a gift card from the appropriate store based on child and family need
Step 3: The CASA Volunteer can shop for the party supplies personally and provide them to the family or give the gift card directly to the family.
Meera's Gift Basket is made possible by the Friends of Athens CASA and the generosity of Ashok Gupta. The Friends of Athens CASA is a non-profit exempt under 501(c)(3). Donations made to the Friends of Athens CASA are generally tax deductible. Donations can be made at www.athenscasa.org/donate
Refer a Child to Meera's Gift Basket
Please complete the form below or reach out to your Volunteer Coordinator to sign up a child on your caseload for Meera's Gift Basket. Allowable expenses include birthday gifts, party decorations, party refreshments or other supplies (up to $125 total). Please use discretion when referring to Meera's Gift Basket as funds are limited each year.
Meera's Gift Basket is only available to children served by Athens CASA/GAL Program. Submission of this form does not guarantee that funds will be available.
If you don't hear back from a staff member within a few days, please reach out to your Volunteer Coordinator to be sure your form submission was received.
