About the event
This training will focus on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and what you need to know to work successfully with youth in the foster care system. We are so excited to have MelRo present to our CASA volunteers, this is will be a training you do not want to miss!
This is a two part series. Part 1 is on May 26th from 6-8pm, being held at the Athens Community Center.
Part 2 will be held on June 13 from 6-8pm at the Athens Public Library. You will receive a separte regeistration for part 2.
Objectives:
Participants will become more knowledgeable in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion while working with youth in foster care.
Participants will be able to integrate concepts learned into their work with youth.
