Apply to the Friends of CASA Board of Directors
The Friends of CASA is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization directed by a board of volunteers whose mission is to support the Athens CASA/GAL Program.
Board Members must be Friends of CASA members in good standing and be willing to commit to a two year term on the board. The board holds business meetings on the Third Wednesday of each month at the OU Inn & Conference Center over the lunch hour. Individual committees meet in between regular business meetings.
The Friends of CASA Board is responsible for managing the Friends of CASA giving campaign, fundraisers for the program's activities and promoting the program within the community.
Any member of the Friends of CASA is eligible to apply for a board position. Applications are reviewed by current board members and proposed for nomination when there are openings on the board. Learn more about joining the Friends of CASA here.
