Welcome!

Athens County CASA/GAL Program is a non-profit organization which utilizes community volunteers to advocate for the best interest of abused and neglected children within the court system. Based on the belief that children are entitled to a safe and permanent home, CASA/GAL volunteers work in the Juvenile Court system in collaboration with key agencies, legal counsel and community resources to serve as the child’s advocate for their best interest and what their wishes are.
